Have not had a good couple of months had to have quite a big operation in January this year, on the mend now so getting back into training for this year.
Test flights will be starting soon. Keep watching

Took off from Ince all Ok then at 14,000ft Engine developed a problem, then shut down.
Had to Glide back from 4 miles out to sea.
Will get Problem sorted and Try again

Night before the attempt everything is on track, all the kit is packed and ready. Tomorrow looks like a great day to have a go. I will say I am nervous but if I was not I would be stupid.

Southport Airshow: Sunday morning the wing got blown over and a 6in hole was torn in the wing.
Attempt aborted until repaired.

The attempt is to Break the existing British Altitude record of 25,000ft which has held since 1983 by Bob Calvert.
I intend to get to 28,000ft+ & maybe carry on( Depending on fuel & oxygen levels) to 32,900ft to claim the world record which is currently held by the French.
